ABOUT ME
I’m a blunt and honest kind of girl. I have been told I can have an aggressive attitude towards things, but in a professional way. I have been studying/practicing design since high school and I’ve come a long way since then. You will find that my portfolio is mainly print designs but I can do website design, the website you are viewing right now was designed and coded by me. I would not call myself a developer by any means, but if you just want something online with some information, I can handle that.
In high school I graduated from the Berks Career and Technology Center with a certificate in Desktop Publishing (2007) and attended California University of Pennsylvania the following fall. I worked for the university as a graphic designer and project manager for 3 years. During my senior year I was offered a job at a company called Imprintables Warehouse located in south western Pennsylvania. It was a job that was a little of training and a lot of trial and error. Upon graduating in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Graphic Communications and Multimedia Technology, I was offered a full time position at Imprintables Warehouse as a “Graphic Communications Coordinator”. To really break this down for you, I have 7 years’ experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and QuarkXpress. I have roughly 1-2 years of video/photography experience, some freelancing experience and at least a year of experience in the corporate world.
I would love to work for the motocross/supercross industry one day. I have a passion for the sport and even though I don’t own a bike⦠yet.. I’ve been involved with it for several years now. I love the atmosphere and I know riders are a whole different breed with different lingo. Being able to observe at races and practices however has given me an edge into the world not too many see. As with many people who have obtained a degree in graphic design, I am a visual person. So I can visually tell you the difference between a 4-stroke and a 2-stroke, the brand of bike by the color of the plastics (most of the time), and logos.
I hope you enjoy my portfolio and if you would like to contact me, all of my information can be found on the “contact me” page.Thank You,
emski
